Air Astana is Officially GoGreen Certified by DHL
On July 16, DHL Express Kazakhstan presented Air Astana with a GoGreen Plus certificate, recognizing the company's contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions associated with international logistics through the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
Air Astana is the first company in Kazakhstan to receive the DHL GoGreen Plus certificate. This initiative is designed to support customers seeking to reduce the carbon footprint of their logistics operations and contribute to achieving their sustainability goals.
The certificate was presented by Evgeniy Bagdashkin, CEO of DHL Express Kazakhstan, to Ibrahim Janlyel, Chief Executive Officer of Air Astana.
The DHL GoGreen Plus program enables companies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with international transportation through the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). This approach helps lower the environmental impact of logistics activities while supporting businesses in achieving their own sustainability objectives.
DHL Express Kazakhstan thanks Air Astana for its trust and commitment to sustainability. Together, the companies continue to contribute to building a more sustainable future for the logistics and aviation industries.
